Once upon a time, on Earth, there was a Hyena named Bannan. He wished to marry Aida, a princess who lived in the sky. Bannan wrote a letter to the Princess but didn’t know who would deliver it to her. He then went to a cat, a cow, and a dog, but they all said they couldn’t take the letter to the sky.
He walked over to the Rabbit. “I wrote a letter to the Princess, but I don’t have anyone to deliver it to her?”
“I can send it to her for you,” Rabbit said.
Hyena Banan laughed at first. “Even an eagle with wings couldn’t do it, so how can you?”
“Unless I try,” the Rabbit said, “I won’t be able to do it.”
Every Saturday, Princess Aida’s servants would come to get firewood for cooking. Rabbit hid in their belongings and climbed to the sky with them. He carefully emerged from his hiding spot and placed the letter somewhere Princess Aida could find it. He then returned to his secret location.
Princess Aida discovered the letter, which contained only one sentence: “Hello, Princess, I Bannan love you so much that I want to marry you.”
“How did the letter get here in the first place?” the Princess enquired.
“Who brought this letter here?” she asked the servants.
“They have no idea,” they said.
In any case, she chose to respond to the letter with a single sentence: “Hello Bannan, I want you to demonstrate your love with any gift.” She placed the letter in the same location. Rabbit was able to pick up the letter and hide in the same place. He returned to Earth with the servants and handed the letter to Bannan. Bannan was both excited and perplexed after reading the letter. He received the gift but had no idea how to return it to the sky.
“Why do you look so perplexed?” enquired the Rabbit.
Bannan stated, “I don’t know how I can send this larger gift to Princess.” Anyone attempting to sneak it to the palace in the sky will be apprehended.
“Unless I try,” the Rabbit said, “I won’t be able to do it.”
Rabbit tried again, and this time he was successful. Princess was awestruck not by the gifts themselves, but by the cleverness with which they were delivered to her in the sky. She made the decision to travel to Earth in order to marry Bannan.
When they arrived on Earth and were debating which path to take, the Rabbit jumped out of nowhere and said, “I can take you to your destination, Princess Aida.”
They all laughed at him. “How can a Rabbit lead the land’s most powerful woman?”
According to the Rabbit, “Even though I didn’t have wings, I sneaked all the letters and gifts to the palace in the sky. I won’t be able to do it unless I try.”
According to the Princess, “Oh, no! You were the one! I wanted to marry Bannan because of his intelligence, which he inherited from you. I’m going to marry you.”
She married the Rabbit and went to live in the sky. Bannan is still on the lookout for her bride.
